We could write volumes about this project, its story is so exciting: inspired by the American country house style, this "CasaClima A Nature" certified home was built with the utmost consideration for sustainability and compliance with regional cycles: the timber was taken from the family-owned forest and cut to size on site. Some of the solid timber walls were left in visible wood quality on the inside. All trades and craftsmen were sourced locally in order to promote the local economy.
The building draws its energy from a PV system on the roof, which supplies the heat pump with the electrical energy required for hot water and heating.
