About the project

The time-honored "Gamper Stodl" at the entrance to Jenesien has been converted into four vacation apartments for farm vacations.

For the construction of the walls, ceilings and roof, a significant proportion of the timber was taken from the owner's forest property and processed. The timber for the new wooden façade made of pine wood also comes from the owner's own property and was copied from the old barn.

The open view of the Dolomites and the village is provided by the large windows. Great attention was paid to sound insulation, particularly on the façades and between the individual residential units. The result is a very inviting building in a rural style.

Special features & services

  • Consideration of individual planning and execution requirements
  • Processing of own wood from the client's forest property in the surroundings of Jenesien
  • The wooden façade made of pine was modeled on that of the old "Gamper Stodl"
  • Compliance with the increased sound insulation requirements
